#2s: Leading Without All of the Power - The Art of Influence

This session will help #2 employees learn to be the most effective leader that they can be for their organization.  The workshop will help participants learn to be even more effective in these pivotal organizational roles.  Participants will be exposed to new strategies & learn how to:

1) Understand the role of the #2 leader

2) How to work with your #1

3) Understanding the #1's vision

4) Politics 101 - How to be the "go to" for the #1 & for all
    of the others

5) How to use planning & decision-making tools to get 
    people on the same page

6) Solving responsibility issues: The My Job, Your Job exercise

7) More effective delegation: Down and up the organizational chart

8) How to supervise others - especially employees that used to be peers

9) Dealing with difficult & resistant employees

All session participants will review the above topics during a lecture/interactive presentation with ongoing questions & answers.  Handouts detailing every strategy, tool, & research summary will be handed out to participants.
