This session will demonstrate strategies and resources that have been taught to more than 8,000 leaders, managers & supervisors and that are currently used to make decisions quicker & hold employees accountable for results. Participants will benefit from a greater understanding of techniques that are quick, effective and easy to use. Sample sets of tools and resources will be presented and handed out to participants. Session participants will receive information about, and review examples of:
- Brief research overview: When & how to decide & what to do next
- Review & understand application of analysis & decision-making tools
- Work through application exercises to practice use of new tools
- Consider how & when to apply new tools in different situations in the workplace
- Learn how & when to use employee input in decision-making
- Understand techniques to improve communication above & below re: decisions made & expected outcomes
- Learn how to apply new strategies to get all employees “on the same page” re: decisions made
Session participants will review the above topics during a lecture presentation with an ongoing question & answer format. Actual cases & problems will be presented.
